Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Markham store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Recommend health/wellness products and ensure pet safety, including vet transport for sick pets.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow all policies, participate in Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
