Role Overview
As a Pet Bather at PetSmart in McAllen, TX, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and teeth cleaning, while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
