Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our McKinney, Texas salon, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering top-tier bath services while upholding safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience, customer interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Master PetSmart’s Splash training for safe, professional bathing.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Monitor pet health, act on injuries, and maintain a safe salon environment.
- Recommend products/services and keep the store spotless.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, stay organized, communicate effectively, and handle 50+ lb lifts in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
