Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Medford store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling and room to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person/phone/register.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hair-filled environments, moderate-high noise, and animal exposure.
