Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Medicine Hat store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and recommend wellness solutions
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments
- Upsell merchandise while following all policies
Experience & Skills
Required
- Pet handling comfort and safety awareness
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible availability for evenings/weekends/holidays
Physical Demands
Lift 50lbs frequently (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk extensively, work in wet/noisy environments with animals. Depth perception required.
