Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Mesa, AZ location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and thrive in dynamic, pet-filled settings with moderate noise and wet conditions.
