Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Miami, Florida location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive salon experiences while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and recommending solutions. Do what you love—make a meaningful impact daily, from fresh grooms to joyful pet parent smiles.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle pet parent interactions: greet, answer questions, manage reservations, check-in/out.
• Independently perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care per standards.
• Recommend health/wellness solutions, sell merchandise/services.
• Maintain safe environment, respond to sick/injured pets, ensure cleanliness.
• Assist other departments and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have proficiency in computer applications, ability to stay composed under pressure, flexible scheduling for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, attention to safety/detail, and excellent communication skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals.
