Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Miami, FL location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. Ideal for animal lovers seeking entry-level pet care roles with advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities
Core Grooming Duties
- Independently perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
Customer & Pet Experience
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations.
- Recommend health/wellness products based on pet needs.
- Ensure safe environment; report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
Store Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, sell services/merchandise, and participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Seeking entry-level candidates with pet passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, handle wet/hairy environments, and stay composed under pressure.
