Role Overview

Our Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with opportunities to advance in grooming or management.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products/services.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, organizational detail-orientation, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
