Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Miramichi, New Brunswick location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
Independently perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards. Complete Splash training and safety certification.
Customer Experience
Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and sales register. Share health/wellness recommendations and sell merchandise/services.
Safety & Maintenance
Ensure safe environment for associates, pets, and parents. Respond to sick/injured pets, maintain store cleanliness, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, pressure-handling composure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to detail/safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hair-filled environment with moderate-high noise and live animal exposure.
