Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Mississauga store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services to standards.
- Ensure pet safety, identify sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Computer proficiency.
- Pressure-handling composure.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Strong organization, detail-orientation, and safety focus.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals.
