Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Moncton, New Brunswick location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services. Uphold PetSmart’s vision by ensuring pet safety, recommending wellness solutions, and maintaining salon excellence. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
Core Salon Duties
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
Safety & Support
- Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
- Identify and transport sick/injured pets to vets as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Sales & Engagement
- Recommend health/wellness products and services.
- Participate in company culture and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays. Passion for pets is essential.
