Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Monroe, Louisiana location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience, customer interaction, and pathways to advancement in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Maintain safety for pets, associates, and customers; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Recommend health/wellness products and uphold store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wetness.
