Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. Ideal for animal lovers seeking entry-level pet care roles with flexible schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend/sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, handle pets in wet/noisy environment.
