Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Myrtle Grove, NC location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and grooming services while upholding PetSmart's vision for pet safety and customer satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage salon reservations.
• Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, proficiency in computers, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), standing, stooping in a wet, pet hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
