Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in N. Winchester, Virginia, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver salon services, uphold safety standards, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers a dynamic environment with pet interaction, customer service, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Monitor pet health, take action on sick/injured animals, and ensure safe environments.
- Recommend merchandise/services and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise and live animals.
