Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Nanuet, NY location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to positive store experiences while recommending wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Ensure safe environments; address sick/injured pets immediately.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
