Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Nashville, Tennessee location, you'll engage with pet parents and pets to deliver exceptional salon services. Uphold PetSmart's vision by providing positive experiences, recommending solutions, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/check-out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring proficiency in computer applications, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must be flexible with evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy environment with live animals.
