Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our New Bern, NC location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full grooming services per company standards.
- Ensure safe environments and respond to pet health issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hairy environments with animals.
