Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced pet salon. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage with pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with dogs, flexible scheduling, and paths to advancement in pet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart's Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide wellness recommendations.
• Maintain a safe, clean salon environment and assist with sick/injured pet protocols.
• Support store operations, sell merchandise, and collaborate across departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
