Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience, customer interaction, and career advancement in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Ensure safe environments, identify sick/injured pets, and transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
