Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our New Minas, Nova Scotia location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring positive experiences for pet parents and their furry companions. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, salon excellence, and customer engagement in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
