Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Niagara Falls store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory Splash training and safety certification.
• Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Perform comprehensive bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vets as needed.
• Recommend health/wellness products and services while ensuring pet safety.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals. Depth perception and team lifting essential.
