Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean salon environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform bath, brush, nail trims, and sanitary services.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to health issues, recommend products.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
- Uphold company policies and participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Pet handling comfort and safety focus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability: lift 50lbs, stand/walk extensively, work in wet/noisy environments.
Preferred
- Computer proficiency.
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends/holidays.
- Organizational skills and composure under pressure.
