Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our North Brunswick, New Jersey location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to positive store experiences while recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Independently perform full bath/brush services per company standards.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Need strong organization, communication, computer proficiency, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Physical demands include standing, stooping, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise. Depth perception and composure under pressure essential.
