Role Overview

The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level position involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, working in wet conditions with moderate noise, and exposure to animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
• Ensure safe environments; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must stand, lift 50lbs+, stoop, and handle live animals in a fast-paced salon.
