Role Overview

The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level position involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideal for animal lovers seeking rewarding work with physical demands like lifting 50+ lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Must have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to stand, lift 50-100 lbs, work in wet/noisy conditions with animals. Passion for pets is essential.
