Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Oak Creek, Wisconsin store, you'll engage pet parents and their dogs, delivering professional bathing services while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement in pet grooming careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent service.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, ensuring safe transport if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment.
