Role Overview

The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. You'll provide baths, brushes, nail trims, and more, while recommending solutions and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. This entry-level position offers flexibility and impact in a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
• Perform full grooming services per company standards.
• Monitor pet health, report issues, and ensure safety for all.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending in a pet-hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
