Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Oklahoma City, OK location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart’s vision by ensuring positive experiences, pet safety, and store cleanliness while recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Independently perform full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards.
• Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Need strong communication, organization, attention to detail, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy environment with animals.
