Role Overview
PetSmart’s Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities in a supportive environment, perfect for animal lovers seeking meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
- Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vet as needed; assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, participate in Belonging culture, and sell merchandise/services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
