Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and store support in a dynamic retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
• Follow policies, participate in Belonging culture, and prioritize pet safety.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, organizational detail, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hair-filled areas, moderate-high noise, and live animals.
