Role Overview
The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in dynamic settings. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards in our vibrant salon. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with pets while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full grooming services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent experiences.
- Monitor pet health, transport sick pets to vets if needed, and maintain a safe salon.
- Recommend health solutions, sell merchandise, and keep the store spotless.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-filled environments.
