Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Orangeville salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, customer satisfaction, and salon excellence, with cross-training opportunities across store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training for safe bathing practices
- Execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure pet safety, report injuries promptly
- Drive sales, assist departments, follow all policies
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hair-filled environments, moderate-high noise.
