Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Oshkosh, WI location, you'll engage pet parents and their furry companions, delivering exceptional salon services like baths, brush-outs, nail trims, and more. Uphold PetSmart's vision by ensuring pet safety, store cleanliness, and positive experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and pathways to advance in pet care careers.

Key Responsibilities

Core Salon Duties

• Independently perform full menu of bath, brush, nail, teeth, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Complete Splash training and safety certification.

Customer & Pet Experience

• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and answer questions.
• Recommend health/wellness solutions and merchandise based on pet needs.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.

Store Operations

• Maintain cleanliness standards and assist other departments.
• Follow all company policies and participate in recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
