Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Ottawa, Ontario location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided through PetSmart's Splash program.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and safety; handle sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as required.
- Follow all policies, participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs+, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
