Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Ottawa, Ontario location involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible hours and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vet as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and recommend wellness products/services.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Key qualifications include computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
