Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in Palm Desert, CA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering salon services while upholding safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, greet parents, answer questions.
- Ensure safe environment, act on sick/injured pets, transport to vet as needed.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise/services.
- Maintain cleanliness, assist other departments, follow policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible schedule (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk, handle pets in wet/hairy/noisy environment.
