Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our vibrant Palmdale store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-ins/outs, and recommend health solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport to vets if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
• Drive sales through product/service recommendations.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate pet affinity, customer service skills, computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include handling animals in a wet, noisy environment.
