Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and ensures pet safety. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in our Pasadena store. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential amid moderate noise, wet conditions, pet hair, and lifting up to 50lbs (team lifts over 100lbs).

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person/phone/register.
• Identify/report sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend solutions, sell merchandise, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and exposure to animals/mechanical parts.
