Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a supportive environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Physical Demands

Expect standing, walking, lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handling pets in wet/noisy conditions with pet hair exposure. Depth perception and composure under pressure required.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and consultations in-person/phone/register.
• Ensure pet safety, report sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Assist other departments and embody Belonging culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Seek pet enthusiasts with computer skills, strong communication, organization, attention to safety/detail, and schedule flexibility. Physical ability to handle pets and demands essential.
