Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Philadelphia, PA location, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering professional bath services while upholding safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience, customer interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Maintain safe environments, identify sick/injured pets, and transport to vet as needed.
• Recommend merchandise/services, ensure store cleanliness, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
