Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Phoenix, Arizona location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart’s vision of safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences while recommending wellness solutions.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet environments with pet hair and moderate noise. Exposure to live animals is common; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full menu of bath services per PetSmart standards.
- Ensure safe environments; act on sick/injured pets.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets and customer service essential. No prior experience required—training provided.
