Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Phoenix salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Passion for pets and attention to safety essential.
Physical Demands
Expect standing, lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals. Depth perception required.
