Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers seeking entry-level pet care work. You'll deliver professional bathing services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic retail environment. Full-time flexibility includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands like lifting 50+ lbs in a pet-filled setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-ins/outs, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vets as needed.
• Assist other departments and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—complete our Splash training! Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and passion for pets. Physical ability to stand, lift 50-100 lbs, and work in wet, noisy conditions with animals is essential.
