Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Plymouth, MA location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold our vision of pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and shares responsibilities across departments.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet environments with pet hair, moderate-to-high noise, and live animal exposure. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full menu of bath services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and take action on sick/injured pets.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and schedule flexibility. Passion for pets and customer service is key.
