Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Port Coquitlam salon, deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring pet safety and positive pet parent experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision through expert bathing, customer engagement, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
Independently perform full bath/brush menus, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards. Complete Splash training for safety.
Customer Experience
Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out, answer questions, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
Safety & Maintenance
Maintain safe environments, address sick/injured pets immediately, ensure store cleanliness, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, pressure handling, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
