Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents and their furry companions, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision of pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care with room to advance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and make reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products/services, ensure safe environment.
- Assist with sick/injured pets and support other store departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required – passion for pets is key! Successful candidates demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
