Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers seeking entry-level opportunities in pet retail. You'll deliver professional bathing services, engage pet parents, and maintain salon excellence, all while ensuring safety and recommending solutions. This position demands flexibility, physical stamina, and a commitment to PetSmart's mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and customer inquiries in-person or by phone.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, pet safety, and respond to health issues by transporting to vets if needed.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist across store departments.
• Follow all policies while fostering a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and computer proficiency. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work evenings/weekends/holidays in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet environment. Depth perception and physical agility essential.
