Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Red Deer store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
• Recommend health/wellness products and ensure pet safety, reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist across departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Success demands pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and availability for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
